Beitragserstattung von der Deutschen Rentenversicherung für Nicht-EU-Bürger

Die Informationen auf GermanyPensionRefund.com richten sich ausschließlich an Nicht-EU-Bürger, die in Deutschland temporär gearbeitet haben und eine Erstattung ihrer Rentenbeiträge vor dem Eintritt in das Rentenalter anstreben.
Wenn Sie außerhalb der EU leben und 24 Monate seit Ihrer letzten Beitragszahlung vergangen sind, könnten Sie Anspruch auf eine Rückerstattung Ihrer Rentenbeiträge haben.
Für Staatsangehörige der folgenden 17 Länder gelten zusätzlich noch folgende Regeln:
USA, Indien, Australien, Kanada, Brasilien, Uruguay, Albanien, Moldawien, Philippinen, Südkorea, Türkei:
Eine Erstattung ist nur bis zu 59 Beitragsmonaten möglich. Wurde für 5 Jahre oder länger eingezahlt, können Sie keine Erstattung mehr erhalten.
Japan:
Leben Sie aktuell wieder in Ihrem Heimatland? Dann können auch Sie nur eine Erstattung beantragen, wenn Sie weniger als 5 Jahre gearbeitet haben. Sollten Sie sich jedoch in einem anderen Land aufhalten (z. B. in Mexiko), gibt es keinerlei Einschränkungen für Sie.
Israel und ehem. jugoslawische Staaten:
Leben Sie in Ihrer Heimat, ist eine Erstattung Ihrer Beiträge nicht möglich. Sollten Sie sich jedoch in einem anderen Land aufhalten (z. B. in Mexiko), gibt es keinerlei Einschränkungen für Sie.
Bei einer Beitragserstattung werden grundsätzlich nur Beiträge erstattet, die von Ihnen selbst getragen wurden. Sollten Sie in Deutschland bereits Leistungen von der Rentenversicherung erhalten haben, werden nur jene Beiträge erstattet, die nach dem Erhalt der Leistung von Ihnen selbst getragen wurden. Freiwillige Beiträge werden nur zur Hälfte erstattet.
Ich verlasse Deutschland. Welche Dokumente sollte ich aufheben?
Wenn Sie bereits Ihren Wegzug planen und eine Rückerstattung Ihrer Beiträge von der Deutschen Rentenversicherung anstreben, sollten Sie die folgenden Dokumente aufheben:
1. Abmeldebescheinigung von der Meldebehörde. Eine Abmeldung Ihres Wohnsitzes bei Wegzug ins Ausland ist gesetzlich vorgeschrieben. Die Rentenversicherung benötigt diese als Nachweis, dass Sie Deutschland verlassen haben.
2. Lohnsteuerbescheinigungen und Gehaltsabrechnungen. Diese enthalten viele Daten, die für Ihre Beitragserstattung benötigt werden.
3. Krankenkassenkarte
Für eine Beitragserstattung werden noch weitere Daten von Ihnen benötigt. Diese vier Dokumente sollten Sie jedoch aus Deutschland mitnehmen, da eine Nachforderung aus dem Ausland kompliziert sein kann.
Japanese citizens: if you currently live in your home country, your German pension insurance balance must hold less than 5 years of contributions. However, if you live abroad in another non-EU country, like Canada as an example, this limit does not apply.
Former Yugoslav-state citizens can only claim a refund (before reaching retirement age) residing in a non-EU country outside the former Yugoslav-states area, like the USA as an example.
Israeli citizens only qualify for a German Pension refund (before reaching retirement age) if you currently live outside of Israel, in another country like New Zealand as an example.
